DAILY FEEDING AMOUNTS
These ranges are a starting point only because pets’ needs vary. Adjust the amount fed based on ideal body weight.
If you are using this food for the first time, mix the pet’s new food with their old food. Gradually transition by decreasing the amount of the old food and increasing the amount of the new food over a 7-day period.
PUPPIES
Science Plan™ Puppy Small Miniature should be used from weaning until the puppy is 1 year old. For nursing puppies, add a little water to the food and mix it to a dough consistency. Progressively reduce the amount of water you add until your puppy is able to eat dry food.
Daily feeding amounts vary for each puppy. Therefore, daily feeding amounts should be adjusted to maintain ideal weight and divided into 2-4 meals per day. (The number of meals per day can be reduced with age.)
