While it’s never a desired side affect, when we’re getting a little rowdy through hand-built sections of rooty and rock-laden DH trail, catching the occasional elbow to a tree is hard to avoid — that’s why Ion crafts the E-Pact Elbow Pads. These pre-shaped pads keep your arms in a comfortably bent position — because nobody’s a fan of riding downhill with locked elbows. They are crafted from HD memory foam to soak up impact, and topped with a hardcap to take the brunt of hits. To let your skin breathe, Ion employs a perforated neoprene in the main body to let air work its way in through channels, while a Power Aramid upper fabric prevents bushes and branches from ripping through.
