NEWBAUM’S CLOTH RIM TAPE Rim tape (or rim strips) is for creating a protective barrier between your inner tube and the rim’s drilled out spoke holes. An inflated inner tube that rubs up against exposed sharp edges of a spoke hole is likely to flat. Newbaum’s Rim Tape offers a long-lasting protection for your wheels and inner tubes. It uses a stable adhesive that stays put on mountain bike wheels and road wheels using high-pressure tires.
MADE IN THE USA, Pre-cut hole for positioning over valve hole. (This product is for protecting your inner tubes from your rim’s spoke holes. Not for tubeless conversions.). THREE AVAILABLE WIDTHS: Use the 17mm size for 700c racing wheels and the 22mm size for wider 700c gravel and MTB wheels. There’s also a 10mm option for specialty applications. Make sure to find out the internal width of your rim before purchg. LENGTH: 6.6 ft (201cm) per roll. One roll should handle one 700c wheel.
